Meet the Owners

Travis & Meagan — From Camp Hosts to Owners

If you’ve stayed at Lava Lake Resort in the past few years, you’ve probably already met us. For three seasons, we had the privilege of welcoming guests as the campground hosts, making sure every stay was as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

During that time, we fell in love with this place — the peaceful lake, the friendly community of regulars, and the joy of helping people make lasting memories. So when the opportunity came to buy the resort for the 2025 season, we knew we had to jump on it.

Along with our little dog, Jobie, we’re committed to keeping Lava Lake Resort the kind of place you look forward to coming back to year after year. We take pride in running a well-kept, welcoming campground where guests feel like friends, not just visitors.

Whether it’s helping you get your boat in the water, pointing you toward the best fishing spots, or simply sharing a friendly hello as you walk by, we’re here to make sure your stay is one to remember.

A Legacy of Memories

Lava Lake Resort has been a special getaway for campers, boaters, and fishermen for nearly 50 years. Located just 38 miles from Bend in the beautiful Deschutes National Forest, it’s the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access.

Over the decades, families have made it their tradition to return summer after summer, some for multiple generations.

Nestled in a peaceful mountain setting with easy access to the lake, the resort has always been known for great fishing, friendly hospitality, and a pace of life that lets you truly relax.

We’re honored to continue that tradition, blending the history and charm guests have loved for decades with our own fresh energy and dedication to making every stay unforgettable.
