How’s the Fishing?

Lava Lake is known for its excellent trout fishing. Anglers regularly reel in rainbow trout, both naturally reproducing and stocked, with rainbows often reaching impressive sizes. The lake’s clear, calm water and easy access make it a great spot for everyone—from seasoned fishermen to first-timers.

Early mornings are especially popular, with cool air, light winds, and plenty of action on the line. Whether you’re fishing from the shoreline, or a boat, you’ll see why guests keep coming back year after year.
